Elevated Events- the conception

I have always been a planner and been prone to be the one who gets people together. In college I was always the instigator of getting the girls together and coming up with crazy ideas of ways to get into trouble. During my second senior year in college at Oregon State, I was talking to my counselor about how I could graduate in a year, given the fact that I’d switched majors three times already and been unsuccessful in figuring out what my actual career path would be. She asked me, “what do you like to do, what are you good at?” I responded with, “well, I like to party and get people together.” She said “you’re an event planner.” And from there on I managed to find a career dong just that, planning events and bringing people together. As I grew in my career, I started having more and more people ask me if I could help them plan their big events and I realized maybe I am pretty good at this stuff, so why not turn a hobby into a business? Now here we are, Elevated Events was born. It has taken me many years to finally take the leap and start a legit company and I am so happy I have. My passions are helping others be successful, creating positivity and building relationships. I am also a food and drink enthusiast, which happens to work well in the events industry. I don’t believe in the notion of a one size fits all experience for events and I enjoy trying new things, finding creative ways to solve problems and working within tight budgets. If you have a vision, we can make it become a reality.
